The health and wellness of our animals is of utmost priority to us. When I started with goats, no one told me how to care for them. I made mistakes in the beginning and I learned a lot and cried a lot. When I decided to breed goats, I vowed that I would not do the same to my goats or my customers. Therefore, when you purchase a goat from 6E Farmstead, we schedule a consult with you. You will come out to the farm to pick up your baby and I will give you a lesson on how to care for your new goat. You will have plenty of time to ask questions while you are here. Should you purchase a bottle-baby, I will show you how to bottle-feed here. All goats are trained on the bottle prior to leaving the farm to decrease the stress on you and the goats. I will also send you home with our in depth care packet and will be available to answer your questions once they arise.
Our herd is tested clean for CAE, CL, Johne’s, Q-Fever and Brucellosis.

Don't live in Northern California? No problem! We can help you find ground transportation for your goats. Want them flown? Air shipping for goat kids may be available out of Sacramento International Airport depending on the time of year.

6E Farmstead Lost in the Woods (aka Woods)
A pretty doe with a sweet subdued demeanor. She is trained on the milk stand with zero bad behavior. Milks easily by hand or machine. Woods is currently milking 1.6 pounds (just under a quart) per day. She kids easily without assistance.

Can be paired with her buddy, Gale (registered, adult doe) for $1000 for both does.
Available Registered Bucklings & Bucks
When you invest in goats, it’s important to get a buck that you can be proud of. Why? Because a buck will produce far more progeny (offspring) than a doe ever will. We are extremely picky about who we allow to be a breeding buck and carry the 6E name. Only a handful (or less) of bucklings born here each season will be allowed to leave here as breeding bucks. The rest will be castrated and offered as pet wethers. We take many things into consideration when evaluating our bucklings: conformation, width, genetics, and temperament.
Registered bucklings are available on an extremely limited basis. Please contact us to join our waitlist.
6E Farmstead Anakin Skywalker *DNA*
Anakin is a sweet boy who is ready to work and get your does bred. He comes from some very nice lines. We have several does in our herd and they will be on milk test. He is registered with ADGA. Anakin’s DNA is on file. He has also had his casein tested; he is ALPHA s-I Casein A/B.

Available Unregistered Pet (Future) Wethers
Future wethers are sold in pairs (2) for $300. Banding for castration should be done no earlier than 15 weeks of age. 6E Farmstead offers this service for free for 6E goats. Goats are ready for new homes now on the bottle.
